9-month-old boy dies after swallowing bottle cap in Telangana – Telangana News
A nine-month-old child died in Telangana’s Utkoor village after swallowing a soft drink bottle cap while left unattended. The incident took place when the child’s parents were attending a ceremony.
The family, from Kommaguda village in Luxettipet mandal, had gathered for an event. Surender, the child’s father, and his family were present when the child, Rudra Ayan, accidentally swallowed the bottle cap while playing.
Realising what had happened, the family rushed the child to a nearby hospital. Doctors attempted treatment but were unable to save the child.
The incident left the family in grief.
