Deepika Padukone’s post on embracing motherhood
Actor-producer Deepika Padukone, known for her roles in films like Chhapaak, Kalki 2898 AD and Piku, often shares messages and reels aimed at new mothers. Recently, she posted a heartfelt message on her Instagram stories for those who became mothers in 2024. The reel featured a sunset over the sea, accompanied by a message reminding mothers of their incredible achievement in giving birth. Deepika added her own sentiment by writing ‘Amen’ alongside it.
Deepika and her husband, Ranveer Singh reportedly rang in the new year in the Maldives. The couple were clicked at the Mumbai airport on Tuesday, where they posed for photographers.

In December 2024, Deepika and Ranveer introduced their daughter, Dua, to the media during a special meet and greet. The event’s photos quickly went viral. The couple welcomed Dua, their first child, on September 8 and shared her first picture on Diwali, explaining her name means ‘a prayer’ as she is the answer to theirs.
