West Indies spin web to bundle Pakistan for 230 in first Test
MULTAN: Kevin Sinclair and Jomel Warrican spun a web in the morning session to help West Indies bundle Pakistan to 230 on Day 2 of the first Test here on Saturday.
Saud Shakeel (56*) and Mohammad Rizwan (51*) started the second day for Pakistan with the scoreboard reading 143-4.
The series opener faced a delay in the coin toss because a thick blanket of fog had enveloped the city, creating poor visibility. The toss was eventually conducted after lunch under a bright sun.
Pakistan chose to bat first after winning the toss, however, the decision backfired initially as West Indies bowlers took four quick wickets with only 46 runs on the board.
Debutant Mohammad Huraira (6) was the first wicket to fall, followed by skipper Shan Masood (11), who fell prey to Gudakesh Motie.
