Actor Farhan Akhtar on Thursday posted a sweet note to wish his daughter Akira on her birthday.
Sharing a selfie featuring him with Akira on Instagram, Farhan wrote, “Happy birthday @akiraakhtar (heart emoji) .. you go ahead and be your incredible self .. I got your back. Love you(sic).”
Friends and family wished Akira a happy birthday and showered her with love in the comments section.
Zoya Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Farah Khan and Dia Mirza were amongst the ones who commented on the post.
Farhan Akhtar’s ex-wife Adhuna Bhabnani also wished their daughter. Sharing a photo on Akira, she wrote, “My Sunshine HappyBirthday,” followed by several red-heart emojis.
Farhan Akhtar got married to Adhuna Bhabnani in 2000. However, the couple went their separate ways in 2016 after being together for 16 years. They have two daughters – Akira and Shakya. Farhan is got married to model-actor Shibani Dandekar on February 19, 2022.
