Farmers have something to look forward to. Reports claim that the 19th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be paid out by the end of this month.
PM KISAN 19TH INSTALMENT: RELEASE DATE
Some sources claim that the 19th instalment of the PM Kisan Yojana will be available from February 24, the date that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to make a trip to Bihar. He is scheduled to attend some agricultural programs and is also likely to inaugurate several state development projects.
PM KISAN 19TH INSTALMENT: ELIGIBILITY
To avail the benefits of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme, a person must comply with the following –
- Must be a citizen of India
- Must be a small or marginal farmer
- Must have cultivable land
- Must not be a pensioner receiving a monthly pension of more than 10,000 INR
- Should not be registered for income tax
- Should not be an institutional landowner

It is crucial to note that eKYC registration is required to gain access to the PM Kisan scheme. This is vital because it makes sure that the people who actually need the scheme are able to benefit from it.
HOW TO UPDATE eKYC
Farmers have three methods for updating the eKYC under the PM Kisan scheme. These methods include:
- OTP-based eKYC can be done on the PM Kisan portal and mobile application.
- Biometric-based eKYC is captured in State Seva Kendra (SSKs) or Common Service Centres (CSCs).
- Face authentication-based eKYC can be done on a mobile application.
PM KISAN 19TH INSTALLMENT: INSTRUCTIONS FOR CHECKING THE BALANCE
After the release of the instalment amount, beneficiaries are allowed to check the status in the official website by following the procedures given below.
- Open the official website pmkisan.gov.in.
- Find and click the status link on the screen.
- Here you will get two options to choose from– a registered mobile phone number or a registered ID.
- Pick one of the two options and enter the code displayed on your screen.
- Press get data.
- The necessary details will now be made available on your screen.
