Delhi couple, daughter found dead at home on wedding anniversary – Delhi News

Three people–a couple and their daughter–were found dead with stab wounds inside their home in South Delhi on Wednesday morning, the police said.

The bodies of Rajesh Kumar, 51, his wife Komal, 46, and their daughter Kavita, 23, were discovered when their son, Arjun, returned from his morning walk. It was Rajesh and Komal’s wedding anniversary.

According to the police, there were no signs of ransacking or theft in the house.

Neighbours said they rushed to the house after hearing a loud sound, and the son informed them about the incident.

“After we reached their house, the son told us that he had gone out for a morning walk, and when he returned, he saw that his parents and sister had been stabbed to death, and blood was splattered everywhere,” a neighbour told news agency ANI.

“He said it was their wedding anniversary, and he had gone out after wishing them,” the neighbour added.

Authorities have launched a probe to determine the cause of death. Crime scene and forensic teams have been called in to assist with the investigation.
