Bengaluru woman murdered by alleged lover in OYO hotel room, police investigate case – Bangalore News
A 36-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by her lover in a hotel room in Bengaluru’s Poorna Prajna Layout. The victim, identified as Harini, was found dead two days after the incident.
The accused, Yashas, aged 25, a techie, is believed to have killed Harini at an OYO hotel on Friday night. Both were residents of Kengeri.
According to Lokesh Jagalasar, DCP South, the two knew each other for about a year and over the past two months, she had been gradually distancing herself from him.
The suspect became angry over the victim’s distancing and reportedly stabbed her to death.
The incident took place within the jurisdiction of Subramanyapura Police Station, and the suspect is currently in court custody.
