After Virat Kohli’s criticism, BCCI may rethink family stay policy: Sources

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) may consider making changes to the family stay policy if players want their families and close ones to stay with them on tour for longer periods of time, sources have told India Today. Family members will be allowed to say with the players and members of the support staff for longer than the current rules allow, provided players seek prior permission from the board.

The development comes days after Virat Kohli expressed his disappointment with the policy when he spoke about the importance of players spending time with their close ones after high-intensity games, especially on overseas tours.
