CAT 2024 results to be declared soon. Direct link to check IIM CAT scorecards


The results of the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 are expected to be announced by December 20, 2024. While the official notification suggests that the CAT results will likely be declared in the second week of January 2025, past trends indicate that scorecards have typically been released in the third week of December for the last two years.

“Information related to the CAT 2024 results will be tentatively available starting from the second week of January 2025 on this website. The list of candidates shortlisted for the next level of selection will be made available on the website of the respective IIMs. Each IIM will send interview letters to the shortlisted candidates directly,” reads the official notice.

The CAT 2024 scores will remain valid until December 31, 2025, and candidates can access their scorecards on the official website during this period.

This year, approximately 3.29 lakh students registered for the CAT 2024 exams, out of which 2.93 lakh appeared for the test. The examination was conducted on November 24, 2024, across 389 test centres nationwide.

CAT 2024 RESULT: STEPS TO DOWNLOAD

Candidates awaiting the CAT 2024 result can follow these steps to download their scorecard once released:

1. Visit the official IIM CAT website at iimcat.ac.in.
2. Click on the link for the CAT 2024 scorecard.
3. Log in using your User ID and Password.
4. Your CAT scorecard will appear on the screen.
5. Download the PDF for future reference.

IIM Calcutta closed the objection window for the CAT 2024 provisional answer key on December 5, 2024. The provisional answer key was released on December 3, 2024, alongside the activation of the answer key objection window.

Candidates should note that each IIM has its criteria for shortlisting individuals for the interview stage, which may vary independently of other institutes. The selection process could include components such as the Writing Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interviews (PI).
