Brian Thompson, the CEO of UnitedHealthcare, was shot and killed by an assailant in midtown Manhattan in what police called a “brazen targeted attack.” Officials said the the suspect shot Thompson in the back and leg, then fled on foot and on an electric bike into Central Park. Police launched a manhunt, asked for the public’s help and offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to the suspect. NBC News’ Stephanie Gosk reports.
