Fantastic Four teaser: Pedro Pascal leads the family of Marvel misfits

The first teaser trailer of the highly-anticipated Fantastic Four is here, and if the promo is anything to go by, lots of misadventures and comedy is in the offing, interspersed with genuinely heartfelt moments.

In the shared clip, we see Pedro’s Mr Fantastic and Vanessa Kirby’s Invisible Woman speak of The Fantastic Four as a family unit, which also comprises the Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) and the Thing (played by The Bear star Ebon Moss-Bachrach).

As soon as the promo was shared, excited fans rushed to the comment box to flood it with positive comments. One person wrote, “Many times we talk about actors who were born to play a character, but can we start talking about composers who were born to play their Score? Michael Giacchino with the Fantastic Four feels… perfect (sic).” Another commented, “Richie from The Bear critiquing Herbie is the cutest thing ever!” “Bro, the childlike joy I felt while watching this trailer, and all the characters in here, I haven’t felt this in a while, I can’t wait to see marvel’s first family again (sic),” read yet another comment.

Directed by WandaVision filmmaker Matt Shakman, the film also features Ralph Ineson, Paul Walter Hauser, Natasha Lyonne and Julia Garner in pivotal roles.

Set in the 1960s New York, Fantastic Four releases in cinemas on July 25.
