Father son IIT contract – Man promises son 40 percent of his salary in handwritten contract if he gets into IIT

A Reddit post on a father’s unusual contract with his son about college admissions has made the internet laugh out loud.

The user, Upset_Design_8656, shared a Reddit post titled “My Father Made a Declaration”, as he wrote about the deal his father had proposed.

According to the Reddit user, his father put it in writing that if he gets into a top-tier institute like IIT, NIT, IIIT, or BITS Pilani, he will receive 40 per cent of his father’s salary every month until retirement. However, if he ends up in a tier-two or tier-three college, he will have to hand over 100 per cent of his salary to his father until his own retirement.

The Reddit user also shared a handwritten agreement by his father in his post.
