Groom dies in road accident 12 hours after his wedding in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly, 3 others injured
An occasion for festivities and celebrations turned into a state of mourning after the groom died in a road accident just 12 hours after his wedding in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly, police said on Wednesday. Two of his friends also died in the incident while three others got injured after their car rammed a stationed truck at the side of the road.
Satish, who had got married to Swati just hours ago, had gone out to buy sweets for guests after his family returned home from Mirganj after the wedding at night. During the unfortunate incident, Satish was accompanied by his friends. After the accident, Satish died on the spot. The injured were taken to a nearby hospital.
According to police, the accident took place as Satish’s car, which was running at high speed, lost control and rammed the stationed truck near a roadside eatery.
It is being said that the collision was so severe that one of the men, identified as Vignesh, died on the spot and four other people were seriously injured. Satish, along with his cousin Sachin, sister’s brother-in-law Vignesh, friend Rohit and another person left for the city in a car to get sweets and, met the accident on the way.
As soon as the news of the accident reached their family, there were loud cries while the bride Swati fainted due to shock when she was told that Satish had died.
