MS Dhoni arrived in Chennai on Wednesday, February 26, as the Super Kings began their preparations for a pre-season camp ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season. Dhoni was seen leaving Chennai airport in a photo shared by the five-time champions, adding to the excitement surrounding the 18th season of the T20 league.
MS Dhoni was spotted wearing a black t-shirt and sunglasses as he was escorted by security officers on his way out of the airport. He was among the initial batch of local players to join the camp in Chennai. Captain Ruturaj Gaikwad received a warm welcome earlier in the day upon his arrival. Fast bowler Gurjapneet Singh and uncapped player Andre Siddharth were among the many who checked into Chennai ahead of the customary pre-season camp. The young pace trio of Khaleel Ahmed, Anshul Kamboj, and Kamlesh Nagarkoti also joined the camp on Tuesday.
MS Dhoni will keep a close eye on the pre-season camp as the Super Kings look to bounce back from a below-par season in 2024.
