Lara Trump joins Fox News to host new weekend primetime show

Fox News Channel has hired the president’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, to be host of a new weekend show on the network.

Her hour-long show, “My View with Lara Trump,” will air at 9 p.m. on Saturday nights, Fox announced on Wednesday.

Fox said in its announcement that Trump’s show “will focus on the return of common sense to all corners of American life as the country ushers in a new era of practicality.”

Lara Trump, the wife of Eric Trump — Donald Trump’s third son — has been a prominent figure in Republican politics. The couple married in 2014 at Mar-a-Lago, Florida, and have two children.

This is not Lara Trump’s first time joining Fox News. She previously contributed to the network, making appearances in 2021 and 2022 after President Donald Trump lost his bid for a second term.

Beyond her role in the Trump family, Lara has been an active supporter of the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement. In 2016, she spearheaded the Trump-Pence Women’s Empowerment Tour, an initiative aimed at mobilizing Republican women in support of her father-in-law’s presidential campaign.

In 2024, she was appointed co-chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC) following Donald Trump’s endorsement, solidifying her influence within the party.

Before stepping into politics and media, Lara worked as a producer and coordinator for Inside Edition from 2012 to 2016.
