Malaika Arora scolds contestant for inappropriate dance

Actor Malaika Arora firmly scolded a 16-year-old contestant on Hip Hop India Season 2 for making suggestive gestures during his performance. As a judge on the show alongside choreographer-director Remo D’Souza, Malaika looked visibly upset and immediately called out the participant.

The show premiered on March 14 on MX Player. During the first episode, Malaika lost her cool as a contestant. A video of the moment has now surfaced on social media.

Naveen Shah from Uttar Pradesh auditioned for the show, but his performance took an awkward turn. The young contestant made several suggestive gestures toward Malaika, leaving her visibly upset and prompting a stern response.

After the performance was over, Malaika expressed her anger, saying, “Please give me your mother’s phone number. You are a 16-year-old kid. While dancing, he is looking at me and winking, (blowing) flying kisses”.

To ease the tension, Remo stepped in with a touch of humour, playfully asking the contestant whether he took after his mother or father.

The situation was controlled after the contestant’s father was invited on stage. Malaika and Remo later shared a light moment with him.

MX Player’s Hip Hop India Season 2 will feature eleven hip-hop dance acts, showcasing their journey through personal video diaries. The season is hosted by Manisha Rani and Wicked Sunny.
