Manoj Manchu taken into police custody

Telugu actor Manoj Manchu was taken into custody by Tirupati police during the late hours of Monday. While the reason is still unclear, he was taken to Bakaraopet police station. Videos of Manoj Manchu conversing with police officials have emerged on social media. The actor was recently in the news for his public fall-out with his father, Mohan Babu.

In another video, Manoj Manchu was seen in conversation with an unknown person over the phone where he was asking important questions about him being taken into custody.

Earlier, Manoj and his wife, Bhuma Mounika, attended the Jallikattu event in Chandragiri. The actor participated in the festivities, which took place in Chandragiri Mandal.

Back in December 2024, Mohan Babu and Manoj Manchu had a physical altercation. Manoj was stopped at the gate outside his father’s residence. When he attempted to enter the premises, it led to a heated argument.

During the standoff, Mohan Babu attacked a journalist, following which a police case was filed against him.
