Neetu Kapoor shares ‘throwback of cuteness’ featuring granddaughter Samara. Watch
Ranbir Kapoor’s niece and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni’s daughter, Samara Sahni, turned a year older on Sunday. On this special occasion, her grandmother, Neetu Kapoor, shared an adorable birthday wish for her on social media. She posted a video of a young Samara singing Balam Pichkari from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
In the video, which Neetu posted on Instagram, a young Samara is sitting on a table, probably in the care of her nanny, while Neetu records the video. She adorably sings Balam Pichkari, which was picturised on her uncle Ranbir Kapoor and actor Deepika Padukone. She also tries to imitate the hook step of the song.
As she stops before completing a line, a person asks her to finish it. Later, Neetu and Riddhima also request her to sing Dilliwaali Girlfriend.
Samara was two-years-old when Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani released in the theatres in 2013.
Neetu shared the video with the caption, “Throwback of our cuteness.” Wishing Samara on her 14th birthday, the actor wrote, “Happy Birthday, our bundle of joy. We loveee you (sic).”
Riddhima also wished Samara with a montage of their pictures and posted a photo of her birthday cake.
Samara Sahni is the daughter of Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Bharat Sahni. She was born on March 23, 2011. While Bharat is a businessman, Riddhima made her acting debut last year with the Netflix series Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives: Season 3, alongside Shalini Passi, Neelam Kothari, Bhavna Pandey, and Maheep Kapoor.
