TikTok goes offline in US before new law banning popular video-sharing app comes into effect: Report
TikTok went offline in the US, just hours before a new law banning it came into force on Sunday.
A message on the short-video application now stated that a law banning TikTok had been enacted, and “you can’t use TikTok for now”.
“We are fortunate that President Trump has indicated that he will work with us on a solution to reinstate TikTok once he takes office,” it was quoted as saying by BBC.
This is a developing story. It will be updated.
